New Year, New Beginnings

Something that I've always been bad at doing is shedding away the problems of the past to help me deal with the new issues that are sure to come. I guess there's a point in time where you just need to lay down the cards and see how life turns out. I can't hold my cards forever because nobody is willing to wait forever. IN a poker game, when you hold your cards too long, either you lose the hand because the timer runs out or people leave...so i guess it's time to throw down the old issues to get ready for the new ones. I feel like i've been holding onto my past problems and it has just been accumulating on my back until i get exhausted and depressed. So i guess this new day will bring the advent of a new life. It's time for me to reconcile my difficulties and lay my cards down, because the cards are getting too heavy for me to hold.

Something i can't stand right now though is the lack of modesty in the world. Guys are being too aggressive and putting their hands around girls all the time. Then the girls start swooning for the guy cause i guess he's so nice...i dunno. Girls show off their body parts a little too much. Whatever happened to modesty and the old fashioned style of getting the girl you like? Like taking it slow, getting to know the girl first, and then asking her out. I guess i'm too old fashioned =--/ but i believe in respect. I respect the girl enough to get to know her first before becoming too touchy. I don't know why this bothers me so much because it seems like a benign thing. Guys holding random girls' waists and stuff...it just bothers me, i feel like the guys are just going for the one night stand. Why does this bother me so much...

Whistler

Sooo, since obviously i haven't been updating...especially since Novemeber...here's a quickie update on the most recent happenings: Trip to Whistler

Decided to go on a club trip to Whistler obviously. The weather was decent and the slopes were AWESOME! The powder on the higher elevations were thick and the overcrowding concern i had earlier were put to rest. I hung out with some friends and showed them the ropes on how to snowboard. Then i basically went on my own to the advanced slopes ^_^. I did a few blacks and some pretty hard blues and had a lot of fun. I went down a lot of runs and got my money's worth for sure. I was really tired at the end though and i should probably get back to work....*like i ever started*. I'll re-update this later when i have more energy hahaha
